Interview Launchpad ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What We Collect

Account information: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. This is used solely for authentication and displaying your account.

Resume text: When you use Prep (Resume Overview), you paste your resume text and a job description. This data is processed by AI to generate your analysis, scripts, and predicted questions.

Waitlist emails: If you join a waitlist for Tailor or Copilot, we store your email address and which product you signed up for.

Usage data: We use basic analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site (page views, button clicks). We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Resume analysis: Your resume and job description are sent to our AI provider to generate your personalized analysis. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored permanently on our servers after your analysis is generated.
• Account access: Your authentication data lets you sign in and access your analyses.
• Product updates: Waitlist emails are used solely to notify you when new features launch. You can unsubscribe at any time.

3. What We Don't Do

• We never share your resume data with third parties, recruiters, or employers.
• We never sell your personal information or email address.
• We never use your resume data to train AI models.

4. Chrome Extension (Tailor) — Coming Soon

When the Tailor Chrome extension launches, your resume will be stored locally in your browser. It will never leave your device unless you explicitly download a tailored version. The extension reads job descriptions from the pages you visit but does not transmit browsing data to our servers.

5. Interview Copilot — Coming 2026

When Interview Copilot launches, audio from your interview will be processed in real-time only. No audio is ever stored, replayed, or shared. Transcription and AI suggestions are generated live and discarded after your session ends.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use localStorage to save your authentication session and theme preference (light/dark mode). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data Security

We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, which provides encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Row Level Security policies ensure users can only access their own data.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of your data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Unsubscribe from any waitlist emails

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as we launch new features. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
